How do i remove rust heavy duty door hinges?

I am an owner builder and have recently been building my own house. most of my door hinges around the place have rusted and they are really heavy duty hinges. how can i remove rust and or what product should i use?

The first thing you need to do is remove the hinges from the door and the door frame and place some naval jelly all over them, it is quite an amazing product. you can alos try using a wire brush or wire wheel befor applying the jelly. if this does no work take them to a media blasting establishemnt and they will blast them for you however be prepaired to pay the cash as it might cost a bit. or you could simply buy some new heavy duty hinges as they are fairly cheap these days and can be deliverd to your door if ordered online.
